(Soul Screamers #4)
Trying to work things out with Nash—her maybe boyfriend—is hard enough for
Kaylee Cavanaugh. She can't just pretend nothing happened. But "complicated"
doesn't even begin to describe their relationship when his ex-girlfriend
transfers to their school, determined to take Nash back.
See, Sabine isn't just an ordinary girl. She's a mara, the living
personification of a nightmare. She can read people's fears—and craft them into
nightmares while her victims sleep. Feeding from human fear is how she survives.
And Sabine isn't above scaring Kaylee and the entire school to death to get
whatever—and whoever—she wants.

My Thoughts; I have to say I think this has been my favorite of the series so far. I have commended Kayle for her maturity in handling certain situations, and although she does have those thoughts pop in her head that makes you think she will handle it all wrong, she has never disappointed me. BUT, nothing brings out a catty teenage girl like an ex-girlfriend who still has eyes for the boyfriend. And then you take into account that everyone, well most everyone, are more than human and you have got yourself some series high school drama. This book was great! You name it, you got it. Cat fights -check! Rampant jealousy-check! Unrequited love-double check!! I have a feeling that a certain someone (who shall remain nameless) is starting to have eyes for another someone (who will also remain nameless). But this had definite potential for a awesome storyline. I am on to read If I Die, which is the next book in the series. And will be the ending of my Soul Screamers marathon......until June that is!! I cant wait for the next book and I have even officially finished the ones I have. Eeep!!
Happy Reading!! :-)
