(Soul Screamers #5)
The entire school's talking about the gorgeous new math teacher, Mr. Beck.
Everyone except Kaylee Cavanaugh. After all, Kaylee's no ordinary high-school
junior. She's a banshee—she screams when someone dies.
But the next scream might be for Kaylee.
Yeah—it's a shock to her, too. So to distract herself, Kaylee's going to save every girl in school. Because that hot new teacher is really an incubus who feeds on the desire of unsuspecting students. The only girls immune to his lure are Kaylee and Sabine, her boyfriend's needy ex-girlfriend. Now the unlikely allies have to get rid of Mr. Beck…before he discovers they aren't quite human, either.
But Kaylee's borrowed lifeline is nearing its end. And those who care about her will do anything to save her life.
Anything.

My thoughts; I would like to take a moment of silence while I mourn the fact that I have finished all the books in this series, until June........................
OK, respect has been paid so now... OH EM GEEEEE!!!!! I take back what I said after reading My Soul to Steal. This book was hands down my favorite to date. Ya know, you start out reading a series and you just know how it will go, girl meets most popular boy in school, girl finds out she is a Bean Sidhe, girl falls in love with said boy and everyone lives happily ever after. Well except for all the near death experiences and junk along the way. Then one day her boyfriend's brother, who just happens to be a Grim Reaper shows up and tells her she has a week to live. Needless to say nothing is the same after that. I was so emotionally involved in this book that I literally could not sleep because I couldn't wait to find out how it would end. No's were spoken out loud. Gasp's were running rampant. Tears were shed by the bucketful. I had moments where I would stop mid-sentence because I knew how the sentence would end, and if I didn't read it, it wouldn't happen. I know my logic is flawed but, whatever, it works for a second or two. (don't judge me lol) Just for the record, if anyone is saying, "OK, wait, I thought you had a no-spoilage policy!" I have given away ab-so-lu-te-ly NADA!! If you have not read this series and you should get it IMMEDIATELY!!
Happy Reading!! :-)
