Review:Walking Disaster by Jaime McGuire

4.5/5 Stars

Can you love someone too much?

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it’s time to see the story through Travis’s eyes.

My Thoughts; I have actually put off writing this review because I have such mixed feelings. How can I both love something and be disappointed at the same time?? That is how I have felt since reading WD. I loved every single moments while reading but I was also disappointed in the fact that a lot of the scenes that made me fall in love with this story were left out of Travis's POV. Scenes that I would have loved to see what was going on in that head of his and I didn't get them so in that respect come the disappointment.

I do have to say that, IMO, the prologue and epilogue made this book for me. They were new things, unique to WD and I loved them. The prologue left me bawling like a total sap and the epilogue gave me a happily ever after. This story grabbed me from the moment I first picked up Beautiful Disaster last year. If you have yet to read this series ... do it!
